No doubt if you are an avid collector of Metal Gear Solid paraphenalia you will have seen the countless cheap MGS lighters and ash trays and cigarette cases etc. Well, this is the official Metal Gear Solid lighter that was released for the game, I believe in Europe and Japan (I'm not sure about America, it is possible). The lighter itself has the Metal Gear Solid insignia on it and the words 'Limited Edition No. 0907' engraved on it. I believe the lighter is one of 1500 that were made. I can't remember where I saw this, I'll check around though. Also on the lighter is the classic picture of Snake lifting his Night Vision Goggles, however it is in green. It also has with it a small booklet titled 'Prologue MG' detailing I guess an introduction of Metal Gear Solid (it is in Japanese) and the opening dialogue between Snake and Campbell (in English), and a leather (I think) keyring type thing. All this is in a really nice presentation box, with the items in a foam bedding, and a silver Metal Gear Solid insignia on the front (and 'Konami' at the bottom).

It should also be noted that the lighter is an official Zippo lighter, which leads me to think this lighter set is definitely official.

Die Auflage dieser Box soll lt. Aussage von "lero50" aus dem Multikonsolero.de-Forum nicht bei 1500 sondern bei 1000 liegen.... der Wert wurde auf ca. 75,-Euo geschätzt.
